STARS AND LOVE In the musical “Starboy,” a two-dimensional superhero is in love with a mortal, a girl who loves contrapuntal music. The performance kicks off with “Superheroes! Starboy and Stories from the Diaries of Modern Super-Heroes.”The second part of the program features a presentation by the storytelling organization the Moth. Jonathan Ames serves as host. Friday, 7 p.m., Whitney Museum of American Art, 945 Madison Ave. at 75th Street, 212-570-3676, free with museum pay-what-you-wish admission 6-9 p.m.
