FABRIC AND FASHION Historical garments and textiles are on display in “The Fabric of Cultures: Fashion, Identity, Globalization.” The show explores how traditional dress inspired and was changed by designers such as Oscar de la Renta, Chanel, Emilio Pucci, Project Alabama, Mary Ping, and Yves Saint Laurent. Pieces on display include ancient Peruvian textiles to the fashions of Antonio Marras, a contemporary Sardinian designer who employs traditional techniques.
