CHECKMATE
Victor Cahn’s new suspense thriller “Fit to Kill” follows a charming chess master married to a rich older woman. Jana Robbins stars and a four-time World Chess Champion, Susan Polgar, serves as chess consultant for the strategic staging. MUSICAL MUSKETEERS
Clint Jeffries’s new musical version of Alexandre Dumas’s novel “The Three Musketeers” begins previews tomorrow. Jeffrey Corrick directs. PITY PARTY
In the new dark comedy “Death Party,” a 25-year-old man spends the day of his father’s funeral chugging beers, street-boxing with his straight-laced brother, and finally, attending the funeral in dressed as a clown and wielding a loaded handgun. Marc Eardley directs the play, which was written by John Pastore.
