MUSICAL MUSKETEERS
Clint Jeffries’s new musical version of Alexandre Dumas’s novel “The Three Musketeers” opens tonight. Jeffrey Corrick directs. SHAKESPEARIAN FAMILY
Actors Richard Easton and Maryann Plunkett perform several father-daughter scenes from Shakespeare plays at an event celebrating Marjorie Garber’s book “Shakespeare After All” (Pantheon). Michael Sexton directs the scenes. Ms. Garber also moderates a discussion on “Shakespeare’s Fathers and Daughters” at the event, which is sponsored by the Shakespeare Society. TURKISH DELIGHT
Catherine Filloux’s “The Beauty Inside” has its world premiere at the Culture Project. The play tells the stories of a girl who survives an “honor killing” in rural Turkey and the Turkish-American lawyer who tries to defend her against her family. Kay Matschullat directs the New Georges production. Opens: Tomorrow, 7:30 p.m. Runs through Saturday, May 7, Monday-Friday, 7:30 p.m., Saturday, 3 and 7:30 p.m., the Culture Project, 45 Bleecker St. at Lafayette Street, 212-868-4444, $25.
