ON THE FAST TRACK How well can artists create musicals on the fly? How about on a train? The Atrainplays attempts to find out, as six librettists jump on the A train at 207th Street and begin writing six 15-minute musicals on Monday evenings. Upon their arrival in Far Rockaway, they choose lyricists, composers, and choreographers in a blind draw. Next the teams head to Columbus Circle, directors meet actors, and rehearsals begin. The show goes on the next day.
