HELPING HANDS Mark Weiner’s “Brother’s Keeper” follows the story of two sisters who struggle to care for their mentally challenged brother after their mother dies. The play, produced by the Playwrights’ Gate, is directed by Mr. Weiner, and featured actors include Adam Murphy and Mariessa Portelance. SO CONFIDENT Richard Vetere’s comedic play “Machiavelli” follows the exploits of the political leader as he struggled to establish a democracy in Florence in the 1500s. The play is directed by Evan Bergman.
