IN THE STORE “High Fidelity,” originally a book by Nick Hornby and made famous on the silver screen by actor John Cusack, lands on the Great White Way in a musical written by David Lindsay-Abaire. The play follows the life of a record shop employee who is obsessed with making lists and mix-tapes. Director Walter Bobbie leads a cast that includes actors Will Chase and Jenn Colella. INTERNATIONAL INTRIGUE Anne Washburn’s “The Internationalist,” staged by the Vineyard Theater, follows an American businessman as he meets a female colleague in a foreign country. The play is directed by Ken Rus Schmoll, and featured actors include Annie Parisse “(“Law & Order”) and Zak Orth. THE PENTHOUSE New York City Center presents Paul Rudnick’s comedy of manners “Regrets Only,” about marriage and friendship among a high-powered Park Avenue social circle.
