MANHATTAN MANSION Morris-Jumel Mansion, Manhattan’s oldest house, began as Roger Morris’s “Gentleman’s Farm,” became Washington’s Revolutionary War headquarters, and in the 19th century was used by Madame Eliza Jumel as a “Chateau in the Heights.” A guided tour provides a look at its 11 period rooms decorated in styles from throughout its Colonial, Federal, and Empire history. Saturday, 11 a.m.-noon, Morris-Jumel Mansion, 65 Jumel Terrace, between 160th and 162nd streets, 212-923-8008, $5 general, $3.50 seniors, students, and members, reservations recommended.


WORST OF GREEN-WOOD Ruth Edebohls leads a walking tour through Green-Wood Cemetery, focusing its most nefarious residents. The stroll includes stops at – and stories about – murderers, adulterers, a notorious courtesans, gangsters, and con men. It is sponsored by the Brooklyn Center for the Urban Environment. Sunday, 1-3:30 p.m., meet at the Gothic Archway inside the Green-Wood Cemetery entrance at 25th Street and Fifth Avenue, Brooklyn, 718-788-8500 ext. 208, $11 general, $9 members, $8 seniors and students.


BUS THE BOROUGH Architectural historian Tamara Coombs conducts a bus tour of Staten Island’s North Shore. Stops include the Snug Harbor Cultural Center, the Alice Austen House, and a pair of exceptional private homes. Attendees should bring their own lunches. Sunday, 9:15 a.m.-2 p.m., meet at Whitehall Ferry terminal at the top of the escalators, east of Battery Park at the southernmost tip of Manhattan, 212-935-2075, $40, $35 Municipal Art Society members, reservations required.
