MADISON MILE The Municipal Art Society presents Add-On Avenues, a walking tour along Madison Avenue. In Edith Wharton’s “The Age of Innocence,” set in the 1870s, the most sophisticated family lived on Madison. Today the stretch is mostly office buildings, but several stately homes remain. Stops on the tour include the Villard houses, the De Lamar house, the Phelps house, along with elegant buildings such as the Church of the Incarnation, the Morgan Library, and the site of Columbia College before it moved Morningside Heights. Saturday, 1 p.m., meet in the courtyard of the Villard houses, Madison Avenue between 50th and 51st streets, 212-439-1049, $15 general, $12 members.
