LADIES FIRST Historian and Chelsea resident Joyce Gold conducts a walking tour of the Flatiron District’s “Ladies’ Mile,” which was once home to Tiffany, Lord & Taylor, B. Altman, and Barneys. Friday, 2 p.m., meet at 10th Street and Broadway, 212-620-5000, $15.


AMERICAN GOTHIC Guide Tom Fedorek leads a tour of the west front architecture of the world’s largest Gothic cathedral. Saturday, 12:45 p.m., Cathedral of St. John the Divine, 112th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, 212-316-7449, $10 general, $8 seniors and children.


GRAVE SITES Cemetery historian Jeff Richman conducts a moonlight tour of Green-Wood Cemetery. Participants bring flashlights, sign a liability waver, and stroll through the historic cemetery. There is live music – and some promised surprises – along the way. The tour lasts approximately two and a half hours. Saturday, 8:15 p.m., Green-Wood Cemetery, 25th Street at Fifth Avenue, Brooklyn, 631-549-4891, $15 general, $10 Historic Fund members.


GO ON THE GOWANUS The Brooklyn Center for the Urban Environment offers a cruise along the Gowanus Canal, which has benefited from a clean-up effort and from waterfront development. Tour guide Dan Wiley offers tales of the area’s history. Sunday, 9:30 a.m.-noon, Fulton Ferry Landing at Old Fulton Street, Brooklyn, 718-788-8500 ext. 208, $45, registration and prepayment required.
