VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS A walking tour focuses on Christmas in New York during the Victorian era. Stops include the spot where O. Henry wrote “The Gift of the Magi” and the area’s prime Christmas shopping location of the 1800s, Ladies’ Mile. Saturday and Sunday, 2:30 p.m., 212-465-3331 for reservations and meeting place, $13.
BAY RIDGE HISTORY Francis Morrone conducts a walking tour of the southern part of Bay Ridge. The tour focuses on the neighborhood’s history, from Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson’s residence there to John Travolta’s “Saturday Night Fever.” It is sponsored by the Brooklyn Center for the Urban Environment. Sunday, 2-4 p.m., meet at Fourth Avenue and 86th Street, street level of the R train stop, Brooklyn, 718-788-8500 ext. 208, $11 general, $9 members, $8 seniors and students.
