HONORING VETERANS The Museum of Jewish Heritage celebrates Veterans Day by giving free admission to any veteran or current member of the armed services. Friday, 10 a.m.–3 p.m., the Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, 36 Battery Place, Battery Park City, 646-437-4200, free. Note: Admission for nonveterans is $10, $7 seniors, $5 students, free for children under 12.
WORST OF GREEN-WOOD Ruth Edebohls leads a walking tour through Green-Wood Cemetery, focusing its most nefarious residents. The stroll includes stops at – and stories about – murderers, adulterers, a notorious courtesan, gangsters, and con men. It is sponsored by the Brooklyn Center for the Urban Environment. Sunday, 1-3:30 p.m., meet at the Gothic Archway inside the Green-Wood Cemetery entrance at 25th Street and Fifth Avenue, Brooklyn, 718-788-8500 ext. 208, $11 general, $9 members, $8 seniors and students.
