SPRUCING UP Volunteers remove vines and invasive plants and add native trees and shrubs on the John Muir Nature Trail in the Bronx this weekend. Saturday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Van Cortlandt Park, meet at the riding stables, Broadway and Mosholu Avenue, Bronx, 718-601-1553, free.
