PRESTO CHANGE-O Tempo Presto, which has been serving sandwiches and gelato on Fifth Avenue in Park Slope, mostly to go, has opened a larger location, with more seating, on Seventh Avenue (210 Seventh Ave. at 3rd Street, Brooklyn, 718-369-5885). It starts serving breakfast tomorrow.

PIZZA & WINE Cronkite Pizzeria and Wine Bar (133 Norfolk St., near Rivington Street, 212-375-1500) is scheduled to open Monday. The restaurant is owned by Michael Ayoub, the man behind Fornino in Williamsburg, and features tomatoes from Italy and herbs from Mr. Ayoub’s greenhouse.

The wines are being selected by Raoul Segarra, formerly of the Red Cat, and will include 15 of them by the glass.

ANOTHER BLT Chef Laurent Tourondel joins the rapidly growing ranks of New York burger joint owners with BLT Burger (470 Sixth Ave. at 11th Street, 212-243-8226), which opened this week. The opening adds to Mr. Tourondel’s own rapidly growing stable of restaurants, which include BLT Steak, BLT Fish, and BLT Prime. Early reports praise the new spot for its burgers and spiked milkshakes.

A large selection of beers and a small one of wine (one choice each of sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, pinot grigio, côtes du Rhône, merlot, and cabernet sauvignon, all by the glass) also are available.

MAHARASHTRIAN The search for a lunch that will feed cravings for Maharashtrian food is over. Tamarind (21 E. 22nd St., between Park Avenue South and Broadway, 212-674-7400) offers a three-course, $21.50 lunch menu featuring dishes from Maharashtra state in western India.

Options include gosht thali peeth — a pancake with grilled lamb and tomato-garlic chutney — and eggplant marinated in coconut milk.

SIX FROM SICILY If Sicilian rivisitato cuisine is more your cup of tea, stop by Agata & Valentina Ristorante (1513 First Ave. at 79th Street, 212-452-0691) starting Saturday, for a dinner featuring traditional dishes, “revisited” with contemporary technique.

For $55 you get six courses prepared by chefs Nunzio Campisi and Pinuccia di Nardo of Antica Filanda, a restaurant in Sicily. An additional $30 includes Sicilian wines paired with the food.

The special menu is available through November 11 and includes options such as veal carpaccio with tangerine-infused olive oil, and pennete pasta with pistachio pesto.
