AMMAN, Jordan — President Abbas of the Palestinian Authority will discuss the so-called final status issues in the Middle East peace process when he meets President Bush in Washington on April 24.

Mr. Abbas discussed the violence in the Gaza Strip with King Abdullah II of Jordan yesterday in Amman, the Royal Court said in a statement. The two men talked about final status questions, which Mr. Abbas will also raise with Mr. Bush, according to the statement.
