JERUSALEM — Israeli security forces yesterday thwarted a bombing attack set for Tel Aviv, police and Israeli news outlets reported.
Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the suspected bomber was arrested in an apartment in Bat Yam after a high security alert in the area. Israel TV said the Palestinian Arab man led police to Rishon le-Zion, a city south of Tel Aviv, where the bomb was stashed.
