Don’t splurge on your bedding just yet. This October, Martha Stewart Everyday will introduce eight new Complete Bed sets at Kmart. The packages come with a reversible comforter, flat and fitted sheets, two pillow cases, two pillow shams, and a bed skirt. And at these prices it’s easy to invest: Twin sets are $79.99, full sets are $89.99, queen sets are $99.99, and king sets are $109.99.
Unlike most bed-in-a-bag sets, the fabrics here are designed for some unusual combinations. An olive green faux suede comforter comes with beige piping – paired with sheets in a tan, orange, and olive windowpane design. A cotton-duck comforter and matching shams are pretty in a tan, olive, and lavender floral pattern. Pillows trimmed with ribbon, faille, and velvet are sold separately to complete the look. Classic pinstripes were the inspiration for a black comforter with light pink stripes and pink cording on the edges. Comforters in plum damask, as well as navy plaid, dominate two more sets. Snap one up for fall – and stick another one in the closet for spring.
