‘VAGUE CHANCE’ AT PRESIDENTIAL RUN, JEB BUSH SAYS
The term “Bush White House” will expire in January 2009, but Governor Bush, a Republican of Florida and brother to the president, could revive it as soon as 2013, according to a Reuters report.
Mr. Bush said in an interview published yesterday that he will not attempt to succeed his brother in 2008. When asked whether he might run in a later presidential election, however, the governor responded: “Let’s say there’s a vague chance.” Reuters reported that the interview appeared in a German magazine, Focus Weekly, in advance of Mr. Bush’s visit to Germany this week.

Mr. Bush relied on the collective judgment of the intelligence community when he determined that Iraq’s Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, the national security adviser, Stephen Hadley, said.
