A serial bank robber targeting banks in the court district of Brooklyn Heights likely struck again yesterday, police sources said. Police responded to the robbery at a Citibank on Court Street, but were unable to apprehend the suspect, police said. The suspect, who is in his forties, has held up three different banks in the past two weeks by threatening tellers with a cardboard box allegedly containing a bomb, police said. However, all of the boxes found by police after the suspect fled have been deemed harmless, police said. The suspect previously robbed two Chase Banks, one at 177 Montague St. and the other at 101 Court St., and a Commerce Bank at 211 Montague St., police said.
