A suspect who allegedly stabbed two co-workers at an East Village grocery store, killing one, was apprehended yesterday in Miami, police officials said.
City detectives were en route to Miami last night to pick up James Gonzales, 42, who had been taken into custody after investigators received a tip called into America’s Most Wanted, a television show that ran a segment on the suspect, police said.
Mr. Gonzales is believed to have killed Tina Negron, 24, on February 29 at Key Food on the corner of 4th Street and Avenue A.
