Lenox Hospital Sees An Uptick in Twins

Doctors at Lenox Hill Hospital kept seeing double this week with the birth of six sets of twins since Monday. “We’re so excited,” a hospital spokeswoman, Ann Silverman, said. A seventh set may be on the way. Doctors last night assessed a mother “who may or may not deliver,” Ms. Silverman said. One in 80 pregnancies worldwide results in twins.
