Man Arrested After Trying To Shoot Police

A suspect that attempted to shoot at police was arrested early yesterday morning in Queens, police said. The suspect, Nnamdi Clarke, 33, dropped a gun and fled from three officers after getting approached by the police at about 12:45 p.m. in the Elmhurst section of Queens, police said.

A chase ensued, and the suspect pulled out a second gun, police said. He attempted to shoot at police, but his gun malfunctioned, police said.
