Nine City Universities Make Carbon Pledge

Nine universities in the city are pledging to decrease their carbon dioxide emissions by 30% over the next decade, in solidarity with Mayor Bloomberg’s plan to accomplish the same goal citywide by 2030. Columbia University, New York University, and the City University of New York are among the schools taking the pledge.
