Police investigating thefts at a Brooklyn church yesterday arrested a brother and sister team for stealing collection plate money, police officials said.

Carmen Sierra, 42, and Juan Sierra, 43, were discovered sneaking into a secured room where collections are kept at the Church of the Holy Innocence in the Kensington section of Brooklyn, police said.

The suspects had stolen more than $1,000 in three robberies of the church, police said.
