At the Frick Collection’s Autumn Dinner on Monday, guests discussed visits to Cos Cob, Conn., and Provence, France, relayed news of children at Milton and Goldman Sachs, and admired one another, all in the beautiful setting of Henry Clay Frick’s mansion-turned-museum. The event honored art dealer and connoisseur Eugene Thaw, and raised $815,000. Several of the guests — decorators Elissa Cullman and Mario Buatta, and party saint Jamee Gregory — had a big night out last night too, at the preview gala of the the International Fine Art and Antique Dealers Show.
At American Ballet Theatre’s opening night gala, the patrons were as fit and poised as the company’s dancers. The event’s co-chairmen were Muffie Potter Aston and Dr. Sherrell Aston, Anne and Mario Grauso, and Julia and David Koch, who helped the event raise $550,000.
