SILLY STUFF Author Stoo Hample celebrates the rerelease of his 1961 children’s book “The Silly Book” (Candlewick) with a reading and signing. The goofy book includes the original words and new illustrations by Mr. Hample, who appeared as Mr. Artist on “Captain Kangaroo,” is also the author of the popular collection “Children’s Letters to God” (Workman). LIONS AND LAMBS The weekly dance party Family Disco gives parents and children the chance to get down together. SPRING SURPRISES The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy’s “Spring Fling” features egg hunts, gardening activities, and music.
