New York City mothers know the juggling act that happens upon becoming a parent. Their suburban counterparts confront many of the same challenges, and are depicted in the poignant off-Broadway production “Secrets of a Soccer Mom.” The 90-minute show, directed by Judith Ivey, tells the story of three mothers: the consummate do-gooder, Lynn; an unhappily married former athlete, Alison, and a struggling photographer, Nancy, who is eager to recapture her pre-mommy persona. The women balance the endless tasks of busy lives, relying on each other and sharing the secret joys and hardships of motherhood. Staged with a simple backdrop — a row of park benches — the well-acted play offers a story to which mothers can relate. The Divalysscious Moms host two special shows on Thursday at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. Open run, dates and times vary, Snapple Theater Center, 1627 Broadway at 50th Street, 212-307-4100, $32.50–$65.
