Only two blocks from Madison Square Park, the Prima is introducing 36 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments to the Chelsea section of Manhattan. The units are outfitted with walnut flooring, as well as appliances from Sub-Zero and Miele. Bathrooms have limestone walls and Thassos marble countertops. The building features a 24-hour doorman, a lounge and media bar with a wet bar, a garden, storage units, high-speed Internet, and cold storage facilities.

The Mark is undergoing an extensive transition into a combination of 118 hotel rooms and 42 cooperative apartments. The developers are updating the building, which first opened in 1927, with state-of-the-art technology and amenities. Each unit will have a wireless Internet setup and a screen that allows the resident to control air-conditioning and heat. Interior designer and Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur Jacques Grange is leading up the changes. The building will also open a Winter Garden Restaurant and have artwork commissioned by the developer decorating the hallways.

Each unit has outdoor space, central air and heating, hookups for high-speed Internet, and a connection for a washer/dryer. The property is also eligible for 421a tax abatement. The building is about a 50-minute subway ride to Midtown Manhattan from the Utica Avenue station on the A and C lines, which is about two blocks to the north.
