Source: Arizona State Fires Coach
Arizona State fired coach Dirk Koetter, who led his team to a bowl the last three seasons but rarely beat the best in the Pac-10. Athletic director Lisa Love was expected make the announcement Sunday after the team’s annual awards banquet last night in Scottsdale, a source close to the program said. The source asked not to be identified because the announcement was pending. Koetter went 40–33 in six seasons at ASU. There was no word on whether Koetter would coach the team in a bowl game.
