MIAMI – Dwyane Wade scored 33 points to lead the Miami Heat to a 107-94 victory over the Knicks last night.

Jason Williams added 18 points and James Posey had 19 points – including five 3-pointers – to help Miami snap its two-game losing streak and beat New York for the fifth straight time. Alonzo Mourning tied a franchise record with nine blocks, matching the mark he achieved five previous times.

Stephon Marbury scored 19 points to lead the Knicks, who have lost four of their last six.

The Heat took the lead for good after Wade’s basket put them ahead 10-8 with 8:24 remaining in the first quarter.

Posey had three 3-pointers in the second quarter to help the Heat take a 65-39 halftime lead. His final 3-pointer of the game gave Miami its biggest lead at 82-53.

The Knicks closed the game with a 19-8 run over the final 6:40 to avoid a bigger lopsided result.

Wade had six free throws during an 11-1 run that helped the Heat take a 25-14 lead midway through the first quarter. He added 11 points in the second to help Miami take its 26-point lead at the break

Knicks center Eddie Curry missed his third straight game with a strained left calf.

The only encouraging aspect of the game for the Knicks was that the bench continued to play extremely well. New York’s reserves have outscored their counterparts in 12 of the last 13 games, and outscored the Heat’s bench players by a 46-18 mark last night. Rookie guard Nate Robinson continued his impressive debut campaign by scoring 16 points on 7-of-12 shooting and handing out three assists in 26 minutes.

Jamal Crawford added 13 points on an economical 5-of-6 performance from the floor.
