While they may make for delicious eye candy, East End show houses can appear decidedly unattainable to city dwellers living in less-than-sprawling apartments. To help with the Hamptons-to-high-rise translation, several interior designers who contributed to the “Idea House” — it opens Friday in Water Mill — shared tips for maximizing space.
Sponsored by Hamptons Cottages and Gardens magazine, the “Idea House,” donated by Sand Dollar Development and featuring the work of 25 interior designers, is open Thursday to Sunday through Labor Day.
