A mother’s perfume lingers in a child’s memory for years. And Mother’s Day is a perfect time to replenish her supply — or introduce her to a new fragrance.

For mothers who prefer a traditional scent, Floris of London’s Night Scented Jasmine combines jasmine with touches of rose and sandalwood. Jasmine can be a single-note disaster — too smoky or heady — but Floris tempers the sultry attitude with subtle spice. (Eau de parfum, 3.4-ounce bottle, $95 at Floris, 703 Madison Ave. at 63rd Street, 212-935-9100).

This month will see the introduction of Miss Boucheron, a lighter version of the warm flowered, spicy Boucheron. Designed originally for a 25- to 35-year-old demographic, the scent mixes tropical fruit with just enough spice to round out the sweet edges. Elegant, but lighthearted, it’s a fragrance for adventurous moms. (Eau de parfum, 3.3-ounce bottle, $110 at Nordstrom, 636 Fifth Ave. at 51st Street, 212-247-3021).

India Hicks, daughter of interior designer David Hicks, recently designed a line of products for Crabtree and Evelyn. The line features the fragrance Spider Lily, a round, mature flower scent with a citrus edge, buffeted by warm green herbs. (Eau de toilette, 3.4-ounce bottle, $40 at Crabtree and Evelyn, 620 Fifth Ave. at 50th Street, 212-581-5022).

A limited edition summer special, Sheer Stella, is a take-off of Stella McCartney’s original fragrance, Stella. A light scent, Sheer Stella features fruity apple and lemon notes mixed with a hint of amber. The pink bottle, covered in metallic leaves, is especially pretty. (Eau de toilette, 3.4-ounce bottle, $52 at Nordstrom, 636 Fifth Ave. at 51st Street, 212-247-3021).

Ensoleille-moi is the signature fragrance of the French boutique Gas Bijoux. Featuring a heavy dose of vanilla and coconut, Ensoleille-moi smells like sunshine and the beach, but a good dose of florals at the end of the scent keeps it light. (Eau de toilette, 3.4-ounce bottle, $95 at Gas Bijoux, 238 Mott St. at Prince Street, 212-334-7290).

Bond No. 9 carries enough fragrances — inspired by New York neighborhoods — to satisfy any mother. The Chinatown scent is bold mix of flowers, clove, and amber. (Eau de parfum, 3.4-ounce bottle, $195 at Bond No. 9, 9 Bond St., between Broadway and Lafayette Street, 212-228-1732).
