Having recently launched Sari, her new contemporary line, designer Sari Gueron was free to focus her fall 2008 runway show at Prince George Ballroom on the pretty cocktail party looks that helped her make a name for herself three years ago. Ms. Gueron reveled in sheer lace, sequin embellishments, and skirts with layers of ruffles. High, gathered necklines appeared on a sapphire lace frock, and on a fuchsia print top — the latter paired with a wide, tiered skirt. Leather pants, an oversize floral tunic, and a thigh-grazing sheer lace cardigan balanced out the collection’s girlish looks with a slight Bohemian edge.
