For sweethearts who want to spend quality time together while being pampered, the gift that pleases is a trip for two to a day spa. Many spas around town are offering “lovers” packages for Valentine’s Day, but a day of relaxation also makes a welcome gift.

The Sports Club/L.A. Splash Spa offers a Couples’ Retreat ($270 for two nonmembers) including a 50-minute massage for two with aromatherapy oils and sensual music that ends with champagne and strawberries. You can pamper yourself before the big date with a facial and Swedish massage, part of the Total Body Rejuvenation ($242 for nonmembers, $220 for members). (The Sports Club/ LA Splash Spa, 330 E. 61st St., between First and Second avenues, 212-355-5100).

Le Petit Spa offers several themed packages, among them the Lover’s Duet ($180). For the man, it features a mint body buff and chocolate mint mini-massage. For the lady, there is a chocolate cherry sugar scrub and chocolate cherry mini massage. In the couples’ massage room, bubbly lovers can enjoy the Champagne Drop Massage ($85 a person) in which scented massage oil is drizzled over the body from a champagne flute and served with a glass of champagne. And for a day of beauty a deux, there’s the Little Sweets package ($140): a champagne massage, facial, manicure and pedicure with your choice of scented chocolate, salt, or sugar foot scrub. (Le Petit Spa, 900 Second Ave. at 48th Street, 212-644-9525, and 140 E. 34th St., between Third and Lexington avenues, 212-685-0773).

In honor of Valentine’s day, Oasis Day Spa is offering New York Sun readers a 15% discount, through February 19, on its Total Body Wellness Package: 90-minute Swedish massage, 75-minute customized facial including a 15-minute revitalizing eye treatment, 60-minute clay or seaweed wrap, and 30-minute lavender Dead Sea salt scrub (originally $370, now $315). To take advantage of the offer, visit www.oasisdayspanyc.com and type in the promotion code “nysun” or mention the Sun when making a reservation. (Oasis Day Spa, 108 E. 16th St., between Park Avenue and Irving Place, 212-254-7722, and 1 Park Ave. at 32nd Street, 212-254-7722).

If you want to go stag, you can take advantage of specials at the Avon Salon & Spa. The Luxuries to Love package (originally $245, now $175) includes a haircut, crystal manicure and pedicure, and a Brad Johns hair accessory. The Valentine Diva package (originally $335, now $275) provides a blow dry, sea salt treatment, eyebrow shaping, and a makeup lesson. But to really indulge, sign up for the Sweet Retreat (originally $495, now $400) and enjoy a facial, hot stone therapy massage, a honey body refiner, and a brown sugar pedicure. If you don’t have time to spoil yourself on Valentine’s Day, these deals will run through February. (Avon Salon & Spa, 725 Fifth Ave., between 56th and 57th streets, 212-755-2866).
