FOLIAGE
KYKUIT The fall foliage will soon peak at Kykuit, the Rockefeller estate, where garden tours wrap up for the season on November 7. Henry Moore’s “Knife-Edge, Two Piece,” a polished bronze sculpture, can be viewed to particular effect from the Rose Garden at this time of year.
Crimson leaves also frame marble and metal works by Picasso and Calder. Tours of the garden and sculptures begin at 3 p.m. every day except Tuesday, with no reservations necessary (though a 2:15 p.m. arrival is suggested). The popular Grand Tour and the new Rockefeller Estate Life Tour, featuring the Stone Barns Center and Blue Hill restaurant, do require tickets. 914-631-9491.
