AIRLINE SERVICE
Starting May 9, Delta will offer daily service from JFK to Chennai (Madras), India, with a stopover at the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. This will make Delta the only American airline to offer flights to two cities in India (the other is Mumbai, formerly Bombay).

TUNISIA
The Residence, one of the best hotels in the Tunisian capital of Tunis, is situated on the azure coast outside the city center – making it a natural candidate for a thalassotherapy spa. The hotel’s Thermes Marins de Carthage spa would be an idyllic place to refresh and renew even if the water weren’t piped in from just offshore, but it is, meaning the treatments are authentic. Visitors can sample any number of procedures, from seaweed therapies to multijet hydrotherapy baths, with the hotel’s thalassotherapy package: seven nights, accommodation in a garden-view room, four spa treatments a day, breakfast daily, and a daily credit of 45 dinars ($35) for lunch or dinner in one of the hotel’s three restaurants. Through July 2, the price is $2,130 a person based on double occupancy. Visitors can also enjoy the large hammam (Turkish-style steam bath), two pools, or the private white sand beach, and very close by are the ruins of ancient Carthage, the Bardo Museum, with its stunning ancient Roman mosaics, and the seaside village of Sidi bou Said.

CAMBRIDGE
The Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge, Mass., features the whimsical, colorful style typical of Kimpton Hotels, an interesting, modern restaurant called Bambara, and close proximity to both M.I.T. and Harvard Square and downtown Boston. In fact, no major hotel is closer to Boston’s terrific Museum of Science, to which the family friendly hotel offers four VIP passes in its Kid’s Discovery Package, along with deluxe accommodations for one night. Through September 5, rates start at $215 for a Friday or Saturday night stay. Complimentary hotel amenities include an evening wine hour and morning coffee and tea service in the lobby, in-room high-speed Internet access, and use of the fitness room and mountain bikes.
