‘Osage County’ To Tour

Director Anna Shapiro will take Tracy Letts’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, “August: Osage County,” on national tour in August and September 2009, it was announced Wednesday.

The current Broadway production of the play, directed by Ms. Shapiro, is up for seven Tony Awards on Sunday, including Best Play, Best Actress, and Best Director.

“August: Osage County” will begin its tour at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco. The cast has not yet been confirmed.
