GILBERT’S CITY Drawings, letters, brochures, and more from architect Cass Gilbert, the originator of the modern skyscraper and designer of the Woolworth Building and the George Washington Bridge, are on display through tomorrow as part of the exhibition “Thou Wondrous Dizzy Pile! Selections From the Cass Gilbert Collection.” Today and tomorrow, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., New-York Historical Society, second-floor library, 170 Central Park West at 77th Street, 212-873-3400, free with museum admission, $10, $5 students, seniors, and teachers.
