RIDE TO THE BEACH The Coney Island Museum presents “Subway to Dreamland,” an exhibit featuring artwork and photography related to the Stillwell Avenue Portal Building and the West Eighth Street subway station. One highlight is “My Coney Island Baby,” Robert Wilson’s 17-foot-high mural composed of silkscreened archival images. STATEN SWIMMERS Former Staten Island resident Christine Osinski’s photographs of swimmers at a Staten Island YMCA are on view in “Drawn to Water.” The photographs are of women from the Synchrolites group, which has met at the pool for more than 40 years.
