TOO CUTE “Nurie — The Japanese Picture Coloring Exhibition” at Onishi Gallery features Japanese drawings originally collected at the Nurie Museum in Tokyo. Featured artists include Kiichi Tsutaya, who is credited with creating the kawaii, or “cute” movement of Japanese art. 15 SHOTS Ethan Cohen Fine Arts presents the opening of “Open Fire,” an exhibit of performance and installation by artist Xiao Lu, which confronts traditional Chinese values and sexual expression.
