COOKING TO REMEMBER The late author Sandra Lawrence succumbed to cancer before her cookbook “Harlem Really Cooks” (Lake Isle Press) was published. Her wish was to have a book-signing at Hue-Man Bookstore: Artist Benny Andrews presents a book dedication in her honor. Lawrence’s brother, Darryl Smith, performs. Food and beverages are served. EARLY SUCCESS The youngest person to acquire the rank of Master Sommelier, Alpana Singh, reads from her memoirs “Alpana Pours: About Being a Woman, Loving Wine and Having Great Relationships” (Academy Chicago).
