DELICIOUS LAUGHS The New York Comedy Festival begins this week with “Roasted, Battered, and Fried,” a comedic roast of chef Mario Batali, which benefits the Food Bank of New York. Featured comics and personages include James Pandolfini, Stanley Tucci, Emeril Lagasse, and Sarah Silverman. Lewis Black is host of the event. Tonight, 6:30 p.m., Capitale, 130 Bowery, between Grand and Broome streets, 212-249-6188, $500–$1,000.
