MARTHAS’ MOVES
The Martha Graham Dance Company opens its New York season with a program that includes a world premiere by choreographer Martha Clarke. Italian composer Franco Piersanti provides the company’s first new score since 1978. The three-program repertory also includes revivals of “Primitive Mysteries” (1931) and “Deaths and Entrances” (1943), with new costumes designed by Oscar de la Renta. Other dances feature sets by sculptor Isamu Noguchi, who worked with Graham. Opens: Tomorrow, 7 p.m. Runs: Through Sunday, April 17, days and times vary, City Center, West 55th Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues, 212-581-1212, $35-$80.
