BALLET BENEFIT
The New York City Ballet’s 2005 spring gala includes a program of new choreography by company dancers Benjamin Millepied, Albert Evans, and Edwaard Liang.The program also includes the world premieres of Christopher Wheeldon’s “An American in Paris,” set to George Gershwin’s score, and a new work by Peter Martins. After the program, guests enjoy a black-tie dinner and dance on the promenade and terrace of the New York State Theater. Maria Bartiromo and Mellody Hobson are the chairwomen of the event.
