CINEMATIC CHOREOGRAPHY Dance critic Elizabeth Zimmer and film historian Elliott Stein participate in a Cinemachat discussion following screenings of two films on dance. Leanne Pooley’s “Haunting Douglas” (2003) focuses on dancer and choreographer Douglas Wright, a star of the Paul Taylor Dance Company, as he wrestles with personal demons. Lloyd Newsom’s “The Cost of Living” (2004), described as “pure dance cinema,” is about legless dancer David Toole, the founder of the London-based company DV8 Physical Theater.
