COURTING A LADY The New York Baroque Dance Company presents a lesson and performance in “Courting an English Lady.” Costumed dancers present the secret code between the sexes in ballroom and stage dances. They perform dramatic, comedic, and country dances, accompanied by live music on period instruments. After being shown the proper and improper ways to woo a winsome heart, the audience is taught a country dance to the tune of Henry Purcell’s “The Old Bachelor.” Tomorrow, 12:30 p.m., World Financial Center, Winter Garden, between West Street and the Hudson River and Vesey and Liberty streets, 212-417-7000, free.
