LOCAL LOOKS
Bklyn Designs showcases the borough’s best contemporary looks in furniture, lighting, linens, rugs, and accessories for offices, gardens, and brownstones. Design mavens from Erin Wilson Quilts, the Pratt Institute of Art, and HereThere Designs are on display. The event also includes cooking demonstrations, a guide to Brooklyn design retailers, and a presentation by sculptor Tom Otterness, best known in New York for his whimsical bronze sculptures installed in the subway station at 14th Street and Eighth Avenue. Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., St. Ann’s Warehouse, 38 Water St. at Dock Street, DUMBO, Brooklyn, 718-875-1000 ext. 146, $10 each day.
