BRASS AND BRAZIL A jazzy brass quintet, including a French horn, trombone, tuba, and trumpets, performs a family Christmas concert in Brooklyn (Thursday, 2:30 p.m.). Later, visitors can celebrate the Brazilian New Year by making paper-flowered candleholders while accompanied by samba music (Thursday, 3-4 p.m.).
