AFTER ‘HOLES’ The popular children’s author Louis Sachar, whose book “Holes” won a Newberry Medal, reads from its new sequel, “Small Steps” (Delacorte). BOOK-MAKING FOR CHILDREN Nancy Loeber from the Center for Book Arts conducts a workshop in constructing a Japanese stab sown book. Afterward, participants have time to put their own words and drawings in the book. The workshop is for children ages 8 to 13 and their adult companions.
