THE CIRCUS COMES TO TOWN Lincoln Center presents the 29th season of its “Big Apple Circus,” a range of amusements that include thrilling rides, arcade games, and no shortage of clowns, jugglers, jesters, and aerialists. A WORLD OF ONE’S OWN The Wroclaw Puppet Theater of Poland presents “The Last Escape,” a play based on the stories of Polish-Jewish writer Bruno Schultz. The performance follows the story of a pensioner who tries to escape loneliness by creating an imaginary world.
